Accessibility Statement

People-first has to include everyone. This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA as its working standard, and when something falls short, we want to hear about it and fix it.

What we've built for

Full keyboard operation, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
Logical heading structure and landmarks for screen readers.
Form fields with real labels, and errors announced to assistive technology.
Color contrast meeting WCAG 2.2 AA, and no information conveyed by color alone.
Touch targets sized for mobile use.
Reduced-motion preferences respected throughout.
Meaningful alternative text on informative images.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is maintenance, not a checkbox. New content and features are reviewed against the same standard, and project photography gets human-written alt text before publication.
